My Deputy, Mr. Osarodion Ogie is a distinguished leader, a visionary, and dedicated public servant whose career has been marked by a relentless pursuit of excellence and a deep commitment to the advancement of Edo State and all its people. He began his education in 1967 at St. Saviour Primary School, Benin City and proceeded to Eghosa Grammar School in 1973. In 1981, he gained admission to study Law at the Prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife where he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B.) with Honours. Upon graduation in 1985, he attended the Nigeria Law School in Lagos where he obtained his Barrister at of Law (B.L) in 1986 and was subsequently called to the Nigerian Bar the same year. In 1987, he established the Law Firm of Osarodion Ogie and Co., Legal Practitioners in Lagos in 1988. His Legal practice spanned different sectors, including Company Law, Criminal Law and Election Litigation among others. Mr. Osarodion Ogie is a humble, compassionate advocate for people.

With a burning desire to serve them, he delved into public service in 2000. In his role as a public servant, Osarodion Ogie has demonstrated exceptional leadership and administrative acumen. Serving in various capacities within the Edo State government, he has been instrumental in driving significant reforms and initiatives that have transformed the state and the lives of the people.

Osarodion Ogie (Esq) is a committed Bar man and belongs to a number of Professional Associations e.g. the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), International Bar Association (IBA), Individual Tax and Private Client Committee of IBA, IBA section on Energy, Environment, Natural Science and Infrastructure Law, IBA Real Estate Committee, IBA Taxes Committee. He is a philanthropist and an honorary member of the Rotary Club of Benin. As a result of his meritorious service to Edo State, he was honoured in 2007 with a Certificate of Honour by the Oba of Benin as a Benin Achiever. Also in 2011, he was honoured as a Knight Commander, Order of Peacock, COP (Island Club Lagos). A distinguished member of Benin Club, Benin and Ikoyi Club, Lagos. Mr. Osarodion Ogie (Esq) is a Christian and married with children. His hobbies include playing golf, football and reading.
